Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of NHS Pay Check at https://nhspaycheck.co.uk("the Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Not Financial Advice
The calculators, tools, guides and other content on this Site are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or professional advice. You should not rely on the output of our calculators as a basis for making financial decisions.
For advice specific to your circumstances, consult your employer's payroll department, a qualified accountant, a regulated financial adviser, or HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
2. Accuracy & Estimates
We make reasonable efforts to ensure calculations are accurate and based on current official data (Agenda for Change pay scales, HMRC tax thresholds, NHS Pension Scheme rates). However:
- All outputs are estimates, not guarantees
- Your actual take-home pay may differ due to individual tax codes, salary sacrifice arrangements, court orders, overpayments, or other employer-specific deductions
- We may not immediately reflect changes to tax rates, pension tiers, or pay awards
- Rounding differences between our calculations and your employer's payroll system are normal
We accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from reliance on information provided by this Site.
3. Not Affiliated with the NHS
This website is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Health Service (NHS), NHS England, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales, Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSC), NHS Employers, any NHS Trust, Health Board, or any government department.
