This privacy policy explains how NHS Pay Check ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our website at https://nhspaycheck.co.uk. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Calculator Data

All calculations run entirely in your web browser. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any salary, tax, pension, or personal financial information you enter into our calculators. Your data never leaves your device.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal, non-personal data to understand how the site is used:

  • Analytics data: Page views, referral sources, device type, browser type, and country of visit. This data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify individual users from it.
  • Server logs: Our hosting provider may temporarily log IP addresses and request data for security and performance monitoring. These logs are automatically deleted within 30 days.
  • Email correspondence: If you email us via our contact page, we store your email address and message content solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list.

We use only essential and analytics cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for basic site functionality (e.g., remembering your cookie preference). These cannot be disabled.

  • Google Fonts: Web fonts are loaded from Google's servers. Google may log font requests. No personal data is shared.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
